Skin peeling is an age old, scientifically proven, safe method of skin rejuvenation. Skin Peeling is a medical procedure, which consists of application of certain products, after cleansing and degreasing face. Peel is applied over the treatment area (face/neck/back etc) with the help of brush or bud in a specific pattern. With every sitting, time of application of peel and concentration of peel is increased. Aim of a peel is to remove the upper dead layer of the skin and unclogging the clogged pores, thereby giving a smooth, fresh, rejuvenated, young looking flawless skin. Peelings which are done for cosmetic purpose are superficial in nature. SALICYLIC PEEL A beta hydroxy peel, which is very superficial in nature. It peels off the upper dead layer of the skin and opens up the clogged pores and thus helps in reduction of acne/pimples. It also helps in minimizing the oiliness in the skin which is very common in acne patients. It is highly recommended peel for Acne /pimples of any grade and gives extremely good results in just 2 to 4 sittings. Recommended for: Pigmentation, blemishes, wrinkle, oily, dull and acne prone skin. Also for Acne Scars,Pits,Ageing Skin. HOW DO WE PERFORM THE PROCEDURE? Blood is drawn in our office as though you are having routine blood testing at your primary care physician’s office. The blood is spun in a centrifuge and the PRP is separated and removed from the rest of the blood. The PRP is taken from your body and is specially prepared by spinning down the blood cells to a high concentration. After centrifugation, the platelets and other vital growth proteins raise to the top of the tube. Under a topical anesthesia, a special micro needling roller device used to stimulate the dermis of the scalp. This micro needling stimulation causes microtrauma to the dermis that induces other healing and growth repair cells into action. The highly concentrated platelet rich plasma (PRP) is injected into the scalp and topically, as the roller creates tiny wound. The PRP contains many growth factors that stimulate the hair follicle’s growth. PRP can be used preoperatively, intraoperatively, or post operatively.
